A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Lawrie Smith (Mr Smith / Coach Lawrie)

I have always had a love of sports and continue to play several sports in my free time. I hope to put across my passion for sports and PE in my teachings to encourage and develop a similar enthusiasm within my classes. 
I took three years of study at the University of Chichester, studying Physical Education and Sports Coaching. Since graduating I have relished the opportunities I have had to work in schools and coach multiple sports outside of school. During my time at University the focus of my dissertation was Epistemology, My study was based on the understanding of how we learn and how everybody will learn differently and therefore need to be taught with different methods. I have now taken these teachings and am translating these into my work.
